Research focus
The Center for CAD/CAM and Digital Dental Technologies at Danube Private University, led by Prof. Dr. Constantin von See, researches innovative digital approaches for advancing modern dentistry. The center focuses on computer-aided design and manufacturing (CAD/CAM), digital imaging, 3D printing, and AI-supported applications for diagnostics, implantology, and restorative dentistry.
The aim of the research is to develop more precise, efficient, and patient-centered treatment concepts and to sustainably integrate digital technologies into everyday clinical practice. In addition, the center investigates new materials and digital workflows for aesthetic and reconstructive treatments as well as individualized prosthetic solutions. Through the close integration of research, clinical application, and academic teaching, the center contributes significantly to the digital transformation of dentistry at the DPU.
