Research focus

The Center for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Danube Private University is headed by Univ.-Prof. Dr. Dritan Turhani. The center is dedicated to the research and development of innovative surgical procedures for functional and aesthetic rehabilitation in the head and neck region. Key research areas include modern concepts in implantology, bone augmentation, reconstructive surgery, and the application of biocompatible materials to improve clinical outcomes.

Another major research focus lies in digital and minimally invasive technologies, including 3D diagnostics and computer-assisted treatment planning, aimed at enabling more precise and patient-friendly procedures. The scientific work of the center combines clinical expertise with translational research to directly integrate new findings into patient care and academic teaching. In this way, the center makes an important contribution to the advancement of modern oral and maxillofacial surgical treatment concepts.
