194 Publications & First Time Exceeding 800 Impact Factor Points
The Danube Private University (DPU) has reached another scientific milestone: 194 publications in the period from 1 October 2024 to 30 September 2025 – more than ever before. At the same time, DPU has surpassed the 800 mark for the first time with 806.5 journal impact factor points. This further strengthens DPU’s international visibility and once again positions it as a dynamic research hub in Austria.
Publications in Top Journals
DPU researchers have published, among others, in Nature Medicine, Cancer Cell, Advanced Materials, European Urology, Nature Communications, JACS, and Neuro-Oncology. The thematic focus ranges from neuro-oncology and personalized cancer therapy to AI-based diagnostics, biosensor technology, and digital implantology. DPU Director Robert Wagner, MA, states: “This figure is not merely a statistical result – it is a meaningful indicator of DPU’s growing presence in the global scientific community.”
Sustainable Upward Trend
Since 2021, the number of publications has increased continuously – from 133 to the current 194 – along with a steady rise in impact factor points. All publications were authored exclusively by DPU researchers, without contributions from cooperating clinics.
