The Young Female and Male Researchers Calendar 2026 is being published for the fifth time and once again showcases young scientific talents working on forward‑looking research topics at the ecoplus Technopoles in Krems, Tulln, Wiener Neustadt, and Wieselburg. As Governor Johanna Mikl‑Leitner emphasized at the presentation of the calendar, young talents are the foundation of Lower Austria’s economic strength in science and research.
We are proud that the calendar also features a researcher from the Danube Private University (DPU): Roger Hasler, a native of Liechtenstein, he completed his Master’s degree in chemistry at ETH Zurich and has been conducting research at DPU for several years as part of the FFG‑funded COMET project PI‑SENS, focusing on innovative biosensors for medical diagnostics.
The featured early‑career researchers were photographed in their working environments by photographer Daniel Hinterramskogler. The focus was not only on their research, but also on the personalities behind it.
The calendar is an initiative of ecoplus, Lower Austria’s Business Agency Ltd., in cooperation with the Technopoles and the Province of Lower Austria. It was produced in a limited edition and can be requested from ecoplus.
